7. ENGLISH LANGUAGE CHALLENGES

The difficult thing personally is the idea of knowing a new language and managing it like a native person who speaks the language perfectly. Honestly and from what I have realized, the use of writing can be easily carried out by implementing the handling and knowledge of verb tenses, conjugations and the essential things taught in school.
On the other hand, speaking the English language implies a pronunciation, union of words and intonation different from what a Spanish speaker uses because the Spanish handling is flat in all aspects. This means that your words are pronounced exactly as they are written, with a marked intonation that cuts between each word without joining, unless they are compound words. That is why Spanish speakers fall into the mistake of pronouncing and intoning the words as we are used to in our language, being perceived in an English speaking country or English teachers as foreign English and strange intonation typical of a Spanish-speaking country.
As a beginner to this foreign language, British English is more comfortable than American English, which has so many abbreviations and conjugations that you can forget. Therefore, one becomes discouraged as a beginner in an unknown language and refuses to continue training and knowing. Therefore, it becomes an obligation to acquire it and not a hobby, pastime or simply in search of new job and personal opportunities in a foreign country with assured success. English is not eliminated, it is considered the language used worldwide, so it is important to recognize the significant value that has the foreign language.
